What is R.O.S.E. Con and how is it different from any other convention?
Getaway to rural Wisconsin and away from the chaos.
Although board games is the focus there will be opportunities to swim, hike, rest and relax or just hang out with friends. A low key event with a lot less chaos involved.
A trip you won’ t need to recover from, unless you play board games 24 hours straight with your friends.
Who is Duchess?
Her Grace the Board Game Duchess is born and raised in the Wisconsin area. She is a long time board gamer, lifetime crafter, and forever busy with affairs of church and state.
Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered
she has grown and flourished as part of the board game community. However, Duchess has only been streaming for 4 years now and can regularly be seen on Twitch multiple times a week. She is also part of Tabletop Live Network which is a group of AMAZING streamers that do monthly board game streaming events and charity work.

On Fridays she generally chats with her audience while playing on BGA or crafting.
Sunday mornings Duchess streams Encouragement for the Discouraged which is a time for friends to get together and encourage each other to just keep swimming through this crazy life.
Mondays she can be found as one of the founding members of the Game Guildies (Which include BoardGameSteph, MichaelBoson, & WigsbyCheck12).
She also has multiple guess streams every month and the TLN stream.

Time for Recreation
Four days of gaming where attendees will have access to play hundreds of games from our gaming library, speak with gaming developers, other gamers, and visit vendors to add more games to your own collections.
Time for Opportunity

Whether it is the opportunity to meet new friends, gamers, developers, and special guests or the opportunity to play new games, and special releases , this is the time.
Perhaps it is the opportunity to get away from it all, work on your own wellness and health and to simply unwind.

Time for Exploration
Spend time outdoors on the beautiful 900 acres of property. Visit the many inspirational and quiet places to restore your mind. Walk, hike, bike and climb your way to new adventures or grab some recreation equipment available on property to play some basketball or pickleball. Not your thing? Maybe you would prefer a beautiful boat ride and lake tour or a walk in a Rose garden.

Who came up with this crazy idea?
The gensis of this event was during a Twitch stream by the board game Duchess herself (Duchess1105 on all platforms) She had turned the conversation with her streamers to having a 50th birthday bash and soon the seed idea for ROSE Con was planted. It grew until Duchess and few people from the community thought it was something worth investing in.
Duchess wanted ROSE Con to not just be a great time for playing board games but a chance to get away, unplug and rest and Green Lake Conference Center seemed to be the ideal location to just get away.
She hopes you can join us for this inaugural event.
